Another tough leaf day, although you could probably tell by looking at the sidewalks. The ground is covered in leaves here in New York, and you may find your wines similarly hidden. My advice? Open up some Beaujolais Nouveau. The wine is so young, it won’t have had the chance to take a late fall hibernation as some of it’s elder brothers and sisters might. Besides, you can probably find some sweet party that’s pouring the wine by the Jeroboam, and make a few classy friends in the mean time. Don’t despair, the French have your best interests in mind on this difficult day in the lunar calendar.

Leaf day. They should rename it shit day, cause I like leaves. You can smoke them.

The only good thing tonight was a champagne, and that doesn’t count. It’s almost more fun to check out what kind of moon day it was after you’ve already had the wine. It removes some of the emotion of responsibility that a wine might have carried from a poor showing.

Anyway, leaf day. Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.

Flower Day, again

You’re in luck, it’s a flower day. And I don’t know about you, but it’s really dreary today, so I’m really going to need this gamay to show up to play. I’m breathing a sigh of relief. I’m also breathing out a lot of smoke from these thai sticks, which are not doing shit for me, by the way. I am hungry, though. I wonder if I know how to hunt a game bird. Is that something I can do? It’s a fruit day! Man, we have had a nice string of these, and I don’t know about you, but even my humble wines have been off the chain. Like, I was drinking this white rioja last night, and I think I saw god.

I recommend getting lit up on some middle aged white burger today. We’ve got the auspicious 11 date, and it feels like full on fall. Enjoy an Armistice from bad wine. Two root days in a row coming up.

Oh man! The hippie forgot that there was an internet for a few days. I’ve been posting bioD updates telekenetically, but maybe you didn’t see them? Wow. I really dropped the bong on this one.

On a positive note, it’s been a string of fruit days, so the hippy has been pretty drunk. I even enjoyed a dry Riesling. All ships rise with the tide!
